He coined the term sure, but ambient came about much earlier, conceivably as far back as Erik Satie and his concept of "furniture music" but also with the musique concrète composers in the 1950s. I love Eno - please don't mistake my intent here - he's a genius, no doubt (I have many of his records). But coining a term is not inventing. Cheers!

Do i have a little bit of fred in me? I often find videos on youtube and time them "creating" something amazing, such as some empty drum tutorial videos timed/mixed with some enchanting tribal videos that have only acapella. Ive tried FL, and created some awesome pieces that are covered in spider webs in folders somewhere but as amazing as they sounded, they just lacked that morphing/spirit, so if i had a midi piano that wouldnt have been an issue, cuz honestly, I think that you dont need to learn music theory to make good music, because you can just feel the music, and thats all you need, + few tools.
